Driver's Contract

This contract sets out a clear agreement for drivers working with the company. It covers seven key areas:

  • payment of rental fees from earnings
  • maintaining and repairing vehicles
  • ensuring all necessary insurance and licenses are in place
  • handling costs for any damages
  • following work hour requirements
  • providing important documents
  • understanding the terms for ending the contract. 

Drivers must sign this agreement electronically, showing they understand and agree to these conditions. This ensures both the company and drivers know their responsibilities, keeping operations smooth and fair.

Driver Maintenance Check

This form is a mandatory monthly submission for all CabCo drivers, designed to monitor vehicle condition, including mileage and any faults. This form is crucial for maintaining the fleet’s high standards of safety and reliability, ensuring all vehicles operate efficiently and securely. 

It aids in identifying and addressing any issues early, contributing to a smoother driving experience for both drivers and passengers. Compliance with this procedure helps keep our vehicles in top condition, reflecting our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Driver Companion App

Once your account was created and a car was assigned to it, you can download the app on your smart phone, both on Android and iOS.

Once the app is installed, you log in using the password provided via email, or you can choose your own password. After the first log in, the app will your biometrics (fingerprint or face ID) for a faster login.

Please don’t set your status on Online if you are not in the car and ready to start as you may receive a job.

Rental fees

40%

CabCo Driver

This requires no prior investment from the driver. We provide a fully licensed vehicle and cover the following costs: insurance, regular servicing, MOT, tyres. CabCo drivers have priority whenever possible. You need to commit to a minimum 45 hours per week

15%

Independent

You will need to own, licence, insure and maintain your own car. You have the flexibility of logging into our app whenever it suits you. There is a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week.

10%

Promoter

Independent drivers can earn an extra 5% by having the CabCo stickers on their cars and by committing to a minimum of 45h per week. They also have a limited number of jobs they can reject.

Each Monday you will receive your Driver Sheet at the email address provided

This is a breakdown of cash and account jobs and it calculates how much money you need to pay or receive. Depending on the ratio between cash and account jobs as well as your rental fees, it is possible that some weeks you will receive money and some weeks you will have to pay CabCo. 

Please note that payments need to be made by the end of the current week. When you receive money, they will become available on Link Pay in the Driver Companion App.

In the Main Menu > Link Pay you have to set up your bank account in the Wallet tab. That is where you can transfer your earnings. The corresponding debit or credit will be added to your Link Pay. To see how much is outstanding, tap the coins tab.
